We first used Richards's services in 2008 when we had our patio replaced with decking and were so pleased with the work that he and his team put in, we had no hesitation in calling him again when we needed somebody to lay some wood flooring. Today, Richard and his team have just finished renovating our garden, a job that was no mean feat and included more decking, paving, Wood chipping and gravelling ( not to mention extensive clearing of grass, weeds and old paving).
We have to say that we couldn't be happier with the result; it is exactly as we pictured it with a few refinements of Richards that really added to the end result. The miracle is that this was all achieved in two days , with no fuss or bother at all. We would happily recommend the services of Roo`s and will not hesitate to call him again when we need any work done.

Richard and his team were a delight. Reacting quickly and doing everything he said they would and when they would do it. I was really worried about getting my high fences secured but Richard seemed confident it could be done and was the only builder to suggest extra - and inexpensive - support. He also arrived with new post caps which I'd overlooked to cover off, so for me, this sealed the deal. That showed thought and consideration that I've not experienced with other builders. He also fixed a couple of little jobs at no extra cost and with a great attitude. These things, while easy and quick for Richard, would have been hard for me, so I was grateful for the great all round service. Highly recommended. And his costs are very reasonable too. I paid the agreed quote, which was on a par with 3 other quotes I'd received. So Richard got the job on his customer care.

We asked Richard to refurbish a rental property we own. The work included fitting a new kitchen, fixing a water damaged ceiling, refurbishing a wood block floor as well as fitting a new fuse board, some new wiring and all over decoration. The work was carried out with the minimum of fuss or mess to a very high standard. Richard has a good eye for detail and was able to suggest several improvements to the original plan which greatly enhanced the property. The work was carried out to schedule which allowed us to get a new tenant into the property before Christmas. Richard and his team are truly professional and offer an excellent all round service. Richard listened to my intentions and hopes for the house and took seriously the importance of the work, which was replacing things done by my late husband, which was not easy for me. He and his colleagues gave friendly and useful advice, worked with me to get the right colours and effects and were always prepared to redo or improve anything I had doubts about. They worked to a high standard and left the house tidy and liveable in at all times, despite the major work being done. I felt able to give Richard a key to my house but he also endeavoured to work around my availability for tasks that needed me to be there.
I was especially grateful that he and his team cheerfully helped me to move furniture and even built new beds for me and did other tasks outside the remit of their original agreed job, which made things so much easier for me. I felt I could ask them to do anything and that they were taking personal responsibility for ensuring work was done well and that I was happy. The work took longer than expected, mostly as a result of my requests for extra things to be done, but Richard continues to ensure that everything is finished properly, finding solutions for any problem which arise. I am happy to recommend him and his team to others requiring decoration work done. My daughter has already asked him for an estimate for work in her home.
